|Caesar - 1972
|"Caesar" was with Stu & Kathy
Segal in the early 70's.
He was a large Afghan, who was
very sweet, but very nervous.
Typical of the breed, he was quite
"aloof". Also typical of Afghans,
he was extremely athletic, he could
run like the wind, and he could
jump like an Olympian.
|Frostie was a wonderful dog. She
came to live Stu & Kathy in Ventnor
in 1973, was with us when the kids
were born, and lived with us in
Northfield until she was 13, in 1980.
She had a litter of beautiful Afghan
puppies in 1974 - some won shows.
Frostie was clearly the baby until
the kids were born, but she never
resented them - she slept under
Stephen's crib starting the first night
he came home from the hospital.
I have never seen a prettier dog
than Frostie, and miss her still.
