Sport Honda Powerhouse opened in November 2004. At the time, it was the largest, and the
architecturally the most dramatic, of the state-of-the-art Honda-exclusive Powerhouse Stores.
Designed to optimize the marketing, sale and servicing of Honda products, Sport Honda's
design enables the sale of over 5x the volume of the average Honda dealership.
In it's first full year of operation, Sport Honda Powerhouse was selected as New Jersey's only
"Top 100 in the USA" motorcycle dealership.
Sport Honda Powerhouse is owned and operated by The Metro Group of NJ, a partnership of
ten friends who are all powersports enthusiasts; Stu Segal, Ray Lewandowski and Dan Notte
are the Managing Partners of the Group. The Group also represents Vespa/Piaggio through
Cross Country Vespa.

In 1998 Stu and partner Tom McTamney opened Liberty Harley-Davidson in Rahway, NJ.
Three years prior, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company had rescinded the franchise of a 35
year old dealership in Rahway. (This was, and remains, the only time in the history of the
Motor Company that a dealer franchise was rescinded.) Harley's customers in the
surrounding area were, literally, disenfranchised and were resentful.
Stu and Tom arranged financing and reconstruction of a defunct Chevrolet dealership, which
had been founded in 1918 but was closed and decrepit. Located in the center of Rahway's
downtown district, the reconstuction helped spark the renovation and reinvestment in the
downtown district that continues to this day.
Opened in 1998, in its' first two years the dealership achieved outstanding results:
- Named one of the "Top 100 Powersport Dealers in the USA"
- Received Harley-Davidson's coveted "Bar & Shield" award
- Named "Best Motorcycle Dealer in Central NJ" by readers of the Home News Tribune
- Received Harley-Davidson Financial Services President's Award
In 2001, Stu sold his interest in the business to Tom who, with his family, has built Liberty H-D
into one of Harley's top-performing dealerships; in 6 of the last 8 years, they have won Harley's
"Bar & Shield" Award for excellence in marketing and customer service.
During his years at Liberty Harley, Stu also served on the Dealers Advisory Board of
Harley-Davidson Financial Services Inc, the wholly owned private bank which provides retail
and wholesale financial services to Harley-Davidson dealers and retail customers.

began as an entry level job wrapping coins in the money
room of a small Atlantic City bank, and took Stu to the
boardroom of one of the worlds largest international banks,
National Westminster Bank PLC, known as NatWest.
NatWest, which was based in London, was the 7th largest
bank in the world. With wholly owned banking subsidiaries
in countries around the globe, a brokerage firm on Wall
Street, one of the most exclusive private banks in the world
(where the Queens' family banks) NatWest was a financial
powerhouse. Though the NatWest name still exists as a
brand, the company has been absorbed by RBS, the Royal
Bank of Scotland.
For the majority of his banking career, Stu developed and
managed NatWest's US ATM businesses, which were
among the most profitable in the US.
The business included not only the traditional branch bank
ATMs, but focused on high-volume high-value locations
such as Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Trump
Casinos, all the NJ Boardwalks, Staten Island Ferry, etc.
Most of these highly profitable locations continue to be
operated today (by Bank of America).
In 1994 when Stu decided to pursue opportunities with a
Harley-Davidson business, the ATM business developed by
he and his team was generating more than $20 million in
annual revenues.
Stu also served as a Director of the New York Cash
